Edward Joseph Warman, 76, of Macungie, died peacefully Aug. 7, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He was the husband of Marie-France (Jestin) Warman. They were married Aug. 12, 1978, in Brussels, Belgium. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Hawk) Warman.
He graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He led several computing software industries throughout his life, moving his family from Upper Montclair, N.J., to Washington D.C., Chicago, Ill., Long Island, N.Y. and eventually retiring in Macungie.
He enjoyed the ocean, boating, the Appalachian trail, formula one racing and his cherished Porsche convertible. In addition to traveling throughout Europe, England, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia for work, he was a loving father and husband. He spent many of his weekends taking the family on rides in the countryside, and most recently the past nine years (in May) to the family’s vacation home in Corolla (Outerbanks), N.C.
He enjoyed reading his collection of James Michener novels, watching Tom Selleck movies and television programs, gourmet cooking and was a restaurant connoisseur. He enjoyed spending all of his retirement with his wife and son.
He is survived by his wife; son, Alexandre Louis-Edward; brother, Paul, of Dayton, Ohio. He was predeceased by a sister, Julia (Bold) Nagle on July 19, 2018.
