Dorothy F. Stauffer, 87, formerly of Emmaus, died Aug. 7, 2018, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Jerald L. Eck and Paul E. Stauffer. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Nevin Gehman and Althea (Rohrbach) Gehman Fronheiser and her husband James Fronheiser, who raised her.

She was a registered nurse, graduating from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1952.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a son, Dennis M. Eck; brother, Edwin C. Fronheiser and his wife Kathy; stepchildren, including Diane Smith. She was predeceased by a son, David B. Eck.
