Doris H. Heiserman, 80, of Lower Macungie Township, died Aug. 11, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of the late George A. Heiserman. Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Kurt and Erika (Claus) Helwig.

She was employed at ALPO for 24 years until retiring.

She was also an EMT in Emmaus for 13 years.

She is survived by sons, John K. Sr. and his wife Jacki, George A. Jr. and his former wife Elaine and Richard E. and his wife Susan; daughters, Doris Peych, Rae Ann and Honey Ann and her husband Louis Olsen Jr.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 in the funeral home.
