Diane Bolich, 72, of Emmaus, died peacefully Aug. 8, 2018 in the Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown, where she was a resident for the past three years. She was the wife of Dennis Bolich. They were married for 51 years. Born in Marietta, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie Ludwick (Black).
After graduating from Emmaus High School in 1963, she continued her education at Maison Felix School of Beauty, Pittsburgh. She became a licensed beauty culture teacher and worked in the Jon Michele Salon in the legendary Hess department store as well as working as a manger at Salon 44.
She fought health battles for the last 17 years with a constant smile, positive attitude and a laugh that will be impossible to forget. Her goal in life was to make those around her happy and feel loved.
She will be remembered for her incredible cooking and baking, which she shared every chance she had.
She lived a life of service to others, that included the Elders Board and Youth Leader at the Emmaus Moravian Church, Jr. Woman’s Club, Emmaus High School Reunion Committee and sharing 50 years with the same women in her card club.
She is survived by her husband; daughters Kristine Moyer (Jeff), of Lititz, Emily Lilien, of Largo, Fla. and grandson, Zachary Rockmore, of Clearwater, Fla.; brother, Gary Ludwick (Sherry), of Huntersville, N.C.; sister-in-law Joanne Bortz, of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother-in-law, James Bolich (Cathy), of Macungie; many nieces and nephews.
