Anthony Lee “Tony” Smith, 79, of Macungie, died Aug. 7, 2018, in The Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the loving husband of Doris M. (Conrath) Smith. They were married for 61 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl H. Smith and Helen B. (Bartholomew) Henry.

He was a member of New Apostolic Church, Allentown.

He was the owner and operator of A.L.S. Contracting, Macungie, for 40 years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Pennsylvania Builder’s Association for many years.

He loved farming and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife; son, Lee A. and his companion, Susan Edeleman; Tracy A., companion of Joni Kulp and Annette R. and her husband Dale Bartholomew, all of Macungie; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in November.
