Keith A. Whitaker, 64, of North Whitehall Township, died July 23, 2018, after being stricken while vacationing on an Alaskan cruise.
He and his wife Deborah J. (Newhard) Whitaker were married 32 years.
Born Oct. 21, 1953, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Walter S. Sr. and Dorothy E. (Zettlemoyer) Whitaker.
A master plumber, he was employed at the former Yorgey Supply Co., Schnecksville, and Tim Beil Plumbing, Laurys Station, before retiring.
He was a lifetime member of Schnecksville Fire Company, and a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, (Mickleys) Whitehall.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Zachary V. at home; siblings Audrey J. Saylor of Allentown, Roseann M. McCrickerd of Bethlehem, Franklin T. Whitaker of Arkansas; half-sister Helen M. Ryer of Georgia, and Brenda Good of Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by half-siblings Walter S. Whitaker Jr. and Fay H. Cornell.
