Dorothy K. Hermany, 88, of New Tripoli, died Aug. 4, 2018, at home.

She was the wife of the late Elmer K. Hermany who died in 1979.

Born in West Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Cora Catherine (Long) Koenig.

A former employee of Atlas Powder Co., Reynolds, for more than 42 years, she retired in 1991.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Her survivors include several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by sisters Mildred Assalita, Florence Ruch, Anna Melovich, Helen Leibensperger, and infant Marion Koenig; brothers George, Charles and Bernard Koenig; and stepbrother, Willard Koenig.
