Dorothy B. (Backenstoe) Roth, 91, of Emmaus, died July 21, 2018, in Phoebe-Richlandtown. She was the wife of the late Carl N. Roth. Born in Lower Macungie Township, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Minerva E. (Litzenberger) Backenstoe.

She is survived by sons, Mark C. and his wife Paulette and Andrew P.; daughters, Renee and her husband Angelo Sansone, Ellen and her husband David Beidelman; sisters, Frances Cole and Esther Schiavone; sister-in-law, Veronica Backenstoe; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Warren Backenstoe; sisters, Irene Roberts and Pauline Fenstermaker.
