John Edward Belzner

John Edward Belzner, 52, of Allentown, died July 12, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Robin (Geary) Belzner. They would have been married 27 years in September. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John Joseph Belzner and Margaret Ann (Fieller) Belzner.

He was a 1986 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem.

John worked at Apgar Oil Energy & HVAC, Allentown, for 20 years, most recently as a service manager.

He was the scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 58, at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown. He was previously an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 146, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, Allentown.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved camping with his family and Scouts, visiting many parks throughout his lifetime. He especially enjoyed sitting around the campfire with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Nathaniel; daughters, Brianna and Megan; brother, James and his wife Charlene, of Andreas; sisters, Annette Rowe, of Coplay and Theresa Kinney, of Bethlehem; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Aug. 5 at Franko Farm Park, 1339 Black River Road, Allentown.

Contributions may be made in his name to the Eastern Salisbury Fire Department, 1000 E. Emmaus Ave., Allentown, 18103.
