Jill Stewart Narrow

Jill Stewart Narrow, 70, of Emmaus, and West Palm Beach, Fla., died July 10, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, She was the beloved wife of Hank Narrow. They would have been married for 45 years in August. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Miriam (Friedman) and Frank Stewart.

She was a 1966 graduate of Easton Area High School.

She had been a member of Temple Covenant of the Peace, Easton.

She was a 1970 graduate of Cedar Crest College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in English and sociology.

She was a professional in the fields of advertising, public relations, marketing and sales for a variety of companies such as Merchants Bank of Allentown and New Jersey Zinc. For most of her career, she was associated with Getting to Know You (GETKO Group) and Welcome Wagon where she was well-known in her territories which included the Lehigh Valley, Reading, Berks and Montgomery counties.

She retired four 1/2 years ago and became a docent at the Allentown Art Museum. She had also conducted tours at the Society of the Four Arts, Palm Beach.

She was a freelance writer and wrote articles for Valley Monthly (Allentown), Berkshire Magazine and Capital Region Living (Albany).

She took great pleasure in art (especially art deco and mid-century modern), travel and music (ranging from classical to jazz). Her favorite place was Tanglewood in The Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. She held memberships in several arts organization including Tanglewood, Civic Theatre of Allentown; the Allentown Symphony Association; the Kravis Center West Palm Beach; the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and others.

She was an avid reader and was a member of the Book Babes. Professional memberships included the International Association of Business Communicators, PR Club and the National Association of Professional Saleswomen.

She is survived by her husband; sister-in-law, Betty Stewart, of Lansdale; aunt, Jacqui Kaufer, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; cousins Becky Goldenberg and Hans Lauten, of Easton; Janet and Arnold Goldberg, of Rehoboth Beach, Fla.; Rita and Barry Mazer, of Sarasota, Fla.; Carol and Rich Ader, of Monterrey, Calif.; and Stephen and Miri Kaufer, of Hollywood, Fla. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark.
