Helena C. Sagl, 88, formerly of Orefield, died July 17, 2018, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

Born May 20, 1930, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Mary A. (Millets) Cattilini.

She was employed at Top Hat Formalwear, Whitehall, for 10 years before retiring in 2004.

Before that, she worked in several textile mills throughout the Lehigh Valley for 38 years.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

She enjoyed playing pinochle at numerous senior centers across the Lehigh Valley.

She will be forever remembered for her “famous” funny cakes and kiffles.

Her survivors include a daughter Donna M. Williams and her husband, David, of Schnecksville; sons James and his wife, Sarah, of Center Valley, Michael S. of Allentown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Jordan UCC, 1837 Church Road, South Whitehall, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.
