Frederick E. Williams Sr., 78, of Breinigsville, died July 21, 2018, in the VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township.

He was the husband of the late Sandra (Weibel).

Born in Montrose, Susquehanna County, he was a son of the late Ellis J. and Norma M. (Spaulding) Williams.

A 1957 graduate of Allentown High School, he was a member of the reunion committee.

Before retiring, he was a tractor trailer driver for Penske Logistics, Reading, and he previously worked at General Electric Co., Allentown, in its small appliance division.

A member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Trexlertown, through the years, he was involved with various churches of the Episcopal Dioceses of Bethlehem and Newark N.J.

He enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting his annual Fourth of July picnic at his home.

He will be dearly missed by his very loving fiancée, Ruth E. Thomson, and all his family and friends.

In addition to his fiancée of Coplay, he is survived by sons Frederick Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Whitehall, Richard M. and wife, Bernice, of Palmerton, Jammie L. and fiancée, Monique Jordan, of Stroudsburg; daughters LeeZa-An F. Ohl and husband, Brent, of Allentown, Kimberlee A. of Allentown; stepdaughter Dr. Christine Lynch-Caverly of Bethlehem; brother Charles “Chuck,” of Center Valley; sisters Elizabeth “Bettie,” wife of the late Rev. William Roberts of Carmichaels, Sarah “Sally,” wife of the late Gerald Huff of Oak Harbor Wash.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Louise; stepson Brian K. Savelli; and sisters Eleanor Lawrence and Charlotte Newton.

His service will be 10 a.m. July 26 in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 6667 Lower Macungie Road, Trexlertown, PA 18087.
