Dennis E. Heintzelman

Dennis E. Heintzelman, 68, of New Tripoli, died July 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Lucille A. (Reinert) Heintzelman were married 44 years in April.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jean A. (Kressley) Heintzelman of New Tripoli and the late Earl W. Heintzelman.

He was Northwestern Lehigh High School and Rider College graduate.

For most of his life, he worked on his family’s farm and began managing the farm in the early 1990s.

Previously, he was an accountant for the Pennsylvania Farmers Association and an IRS enrolled agent.

In his early adult life, he was a payroll manager for Allentown Manufacturing.

He was a member of the Lehigh-Kress Hunting Club and the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society.

He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and he thoroughly enjoyed farming and hunting.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons Brian D. and wife, Jewel, of New Tripoli and Dan A. and wife, Jaime, of Allentown; brother Dale L. and wife, Beverly, of Slidell, La.; grandchildren Jaxson, Adalyn and Kensington; brothers-in-law Donald W. Reinert and wife, Carol, and Sterling D. Reinert and wife, Doreen; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother-in-law Reynold G. Reinert and wife, Grace.

His service will be at 11 a.m., July 27 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating.

Calling hour will be 10-11 a.m. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. July 26 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St. Fogelsville. Interment at Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
