The Freemansburg Police Department will host the fifth annual National Night Out Against Crime family-friendly evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Municipal Park, Cambria and Washington streets. Hellertown &Lower Saucon Twp.
Hellertown and Lower Saucon Police Departments, Dewey and Steel City Fire Departments and Lower Saucon Fire and Rescue units at Dimmick Park, 406 Constitution Ave., Hellertown, from 5 to 8 p.m. for the National Night Out. Funded by donations from local businesses and residents. Food, demonstrations, bike rides, other attractions and games for children.
Salisbury Twp.
The Salisbury Township Police Department and the Salisbury Township Recreation Advisory Committee have teamed together for a community event 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, Allentown. Residents will have an opportunity to meet and greet local police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel. Many activities are planned, including a basket raffle, 50/50 drawing, bingo, kids’ games and activities, moon bounce, home safety tips, neighborhood watch information, music from B-Flat Entertainment Services and more. Food and drinks will be provided at no charge; however, a Boardwalk Bites Food Truck will also be on site offering additional food for purchase.
