Irene K. “Honey” Payonk, 84, of Salisbury Township, died July 13, 2018, at the Hospice House of St. Luke’s. She was the wife of the late Bernard B. “Bernie” Payonk for 55 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late George and Barbara (Hilbert) Kloo.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School. She worked as a secretary for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and later Air Products Corp.

She was a parishioner of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill and a member of the Golden Hillers.

She is survived by her children, David and his wife, Lori, of Alburtis; John and his wife, Ann, of Schwenksville; Susan, of Allentown and Thomas, of Bethlehem; brothers, Robert and Edward Kloo and sister, Barbara Raykos; grandchildren, Jason, Joleen, Adam, Sarah and Ben; great-granddaughter, Lennon; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, George, Joseph, Stephen, John, William, Goldie and Mary Ann Kloo, Theresa Frisoli, Elizabeth Lynn and Margaret Pelizoto.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ursula Catholic Church.
