Charles W. Watkins, 69, of Slatington, died July 14, 2018, in his home.

He was the husband of the late Mary R. (Regnier) Watkins.

Born July 15, 1948, in Harrisburg, Ill., he was the son of the late Eliham and Bulah (Tison) Watkins.

He was a truck driver at Creat Logistics, Harrisburg, before retiring.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

His survivors include sons William L. and his wife, Jamie, of Bath, Mark R. and his fiancé, Meredith A. Lenhart, with whom he resided; brother Robert; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
