Neal W. Bold, 79, of Emmaus, died July 2, 2018, in St. Luke’s, Allentown, under hospice care. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Costello) Bold for the last 44 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Whitehouse) Bold.

He was a 1956 graduate of Allentown High School.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. and the U.S. Navy Reserve in the Seabee’s, earning the rank of E-6 (Petty Officer 1st Class).

He retired in 2004 as a master electrician at Pet/Pillsbury. Previously he was a supervisor for Blue Ridge Textiles, Bangor.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Angie, of Allentown; grandchildren, Justin and Cheyenne; great-granddaughter, Chloe; sister, Bonnie, and her husband Jay Hetherington, of Texas. He was predeceased by a brother, Earl.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
