John D. Roeder, 61, of Lehighton, formerly of Parryville, died July 5, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of the late Debra C. (Geho) Roeder, who died in 2007. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Jane R. (Yoachim) Roeder and the late George T. Roeder.

He was the owner of the former Simeon Moats Hardwood Flooring Contracting and later worked at Lorah’s, Walnutport.

He was a life member of Parryville Volunteer Fire Co.

He was a 1975 graduate of Emmaus High School.

He is survived by his mother; son, Jason M. and his wife Crystal and their children, Victoria, Jason Jr. and Blake; daughter, Jami Begley and her children Kaitlynne, Trey and Jocelynne; brothers, William and Russel.

A Celebration of Life will be held 7 p.m. July 11 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. A gathering will be held 6 to 7 p.m. July 11 at the funeral home.
