Charles D. Lichtenwalner, 87, of Alburtis, died July 8, 2018, in Heather Glen Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline L. (Smith) Lichtenwalner. Born in Breinigsville, he was the son of the late Oscar and Lillie (Moyer) Lichtenwalner.

He worked for the Boyertown Foundry and later for Buckeye Pipeline, retiring in 1998.

He is survived by six nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald and a sister, Marion Merkel.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. July 14 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
