The three PSSDAR chapters of the Lehigh Valley met June 16 for their annual Tri-Chapter Flag Day Luncheon.

The chapters include the Liberty Bell Chapter in Allentown, the Bethlehem Chapter in Bethlehem and the George Taylor Chapter in Easton. The Bethlehem chapter hosted 80 guests at the Best Western Hotel in Bethlehem.

District Director Sara Jane McCurdy attended as well as members from Jacob Stroud, Philadelphia, Shawnee Fort, and Valley Forge Chapters.

Jeff Finegan Sr., creator and author of the “I Knew George Washington” series, gave an informative talk about George Washington.Finegan is a collector of George Washington manuscripts as well as other important early American documents.

The Liberty Bell and Bethlehem chapters had new daughters take the oath of membership and Liberty Bell installed three new officers.
