Ambulance corps offers EMT class at high school

Cetronia Ambulance Corps personnel, in cooperation with Parkland School District, offered a yearlong emergency technician class at the high school.

This was the first class of its type in eastern Pennsylvania.

Cetronia Operations Manager Chris Peischl and Director of Education Stephen Hall, instructed the 13 Parkland seniors.

Social studies teacher and volunteer firefighter in Lower Macungie Township Eric Gopen served as advisor for the group.

Gopen also received his emergency medical technician graduation certificate from the ambulance corps.
