Frank C. Rothdeutsch
Frank C. Rothdeutsch, 79, of Whitehall, died peacefully June 24, 2018, in Fellowship Community, Whitehall, with his loving and dedicated family at his side.
He and his wife Antoinette “Toni” (Gutleber) Rothdeutsch celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank W. and Hilda (Yandrasitz) Rothdeutsch.
He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church.
A 1956 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, he attended St. Bonaventure University.
He retired in 2001 from the sales and service department of Mack Trucks after 26 years of service.
He enjoyed being a member of Whitehall AARP, ECBA and BCCA Breweriana clubs, being an avid Phillies Fan, gardening, photography, traveling and going to the casinos.
He was well known for his collection of beer memorabilia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Tricia of Emmaus and son Craig and his wife, Anita, of Danielsville; grandchildren Tyler and Kacie Rothdeutsch; sister Rosemarie Snyder of Allentown and Janet Ryan of California; nieces, nephews and extended family.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Robert B. Kosek 11 a.m. June 28 in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, 924 N. Front St., Allentown, PA 18102.
His viewing will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd, Whitehall, PA 18052.
Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall.
