Douglas C. Rassler, 59, of New Tripoli, died June 11, 2018, in his home.

He and his wife Gail E. (Zimmerman) Rassler were married 24 years last Oct. 23.

Born June 23, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minn., was the son of Carol A. (Stafford) Rassler and the late Lawrence C. Rassler.

He owned and operated Eagle Contracting LLC, New Tripoli, for the last 35 years.

Aside from managing his business, he enjoyed boating on Chesapeake Bay and spending time with friends.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Sarah E. at home; son Nicholas S. of Philadelphia; brothers Gregory L. of New Tripoli, and Bryan E. and his wife, Robin, of Kempton.
