Catherine Amanda Benincasa

Catherine Amanda Benincasa of Breinigsville died June 14, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.

Despite looking younger than her little sister, she was 31.

Born in New Brunswick, N.J., she was the daughter of Elsa M. (Aull) Benincasa and the late Armand C. Benincasa.

She had a more robust social life than anyone - boasting many dinner dates with friends and family, especially Louise Fick.

She volunteered for years at Cetronia Ambulance Corps. and went to Concepts Community Services with all of her amazing friends.

A lover of Harry Potter, Backstreet Boys and every “Chucky” movie ever made, she forced all close to her to love them too, even if they didn’t want to, because she gave 100 percent to every interest she had.

Between Special Olympics track, field, softball and bowling, she was more active than most people and was annoyed with anything less than first place.

She will always be first place in our hearts.

She leaves behind her “Mama,” “Sis-Head” Amanda, and companion Andrew, although she would argue he was her boyfriend; her “baby brother” Anthony and his wife, her “favorite little Angie,” her “Frizzy dog” Rizzo, and her cat Renzo, who only loves her and is mean to everyone else.

She also leaves behind enough friends to fill up stadiums, and enough memories to keep everyone moving on in honor of her always-happy personality.

She would want everyone to keep living, keep smiling and whatever else they do, eat pasta, eat ice cream and laugh. “Mom, Please.”

Services will be at a later date.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Cetronia Ambulance Corps., 4300 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104-9564
