Anna M. Ely, 95, of Glen Mills, Delaware County, formerly of Bricktown, N.J., died June 11, 2018, in Rose Court Continuing Care, Maris Grove, Glen Mills.

She was the wife of the late Albert B. Ely.

Born Aug. 14, 1922, on Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Francis A. and Henrietta (Klug) McCauley.

She was a long distance telephone operator for AT&T, New York City, N.Y. for three years before retiring in 1944.

She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Glen Mills.

Her survivors include children Patricia Ann Welch (Alan) of Georgia, Michael D. Ely (Darlene) of Schnecksville, Eileen Chorman (Thomas) of Naples, Fla., Maureen A. Porter (Simon) of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Vincent McCauley, Dorothy Shanley, Frances McCauley and Dolores Bautista.
