Nicollette Amico of Allentown was one of 60 Muhlenberg College students who performed in this year’s production of “Master Choreographers.”
A spectacular evening of ballet, contemporary dance, tap, and jazz, “Master Choreographers” showcased exciting new dance works choreographed by nationally and internationally acclaimed guest artists and faculty.
This season’s concert, which ran Feb. 8-10 featured “It Happens Only Once ... Yesterday and Tomorrow,” choreographed by guest artist Tiffany Mills, the founder of Tiffany Mills Company, which has received attention from The New York Times and collaborated with a number of prestigious institutions.
In addition to Mills, the concert featured works by Heidi Cruz-Austin, alumna of the Pennsylvania Ballet; Karen Dearborn, artistic director and chair of the college’s dance program; Corrie Franz Cowart, co-artistic director of co-art dance; Shelley Oliver, director of Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers; Jeffrey Peterson, former dancer with Danny Buraczeski’s Jazzdance; and Randall Anthony Smith, repetiteur and assistant to choreographer Donald McKayle.
