Lexi Barrall, Jared Jackson and Zach Liggitt took part in the state track meet this past weekend.

Liggitt took 14th in the shot put. He was seeded with a throw of 50-3.5 and threw a 48-5.5 at states. Johan Eakins of Bradford Area won the event with a 58-10.75.

Liggitt was also 17th in the discus with a throw of 134-10 after being seeded with a throw of 140-4. Zach Gehm of Seneca Valley threw a 194-8 to win gold in the event.

Lexi Barrall took 20th in the pole vault and cleared 10-0 at states. Mackenzie Horn of Manheim Township won the gold medal by clearing 13-3.

Jared Jackson made states in the 400 but didn’t make it out of the prelims. Jackson was fourth in his heat with a time of 50.44, that was lower than his seeded time of 50.55.
