Wallace Ray Fenner

Wallace Ray Fenner, 91, of Breinigsville, died May 12, 2018.

He and his wife Doris May (Kaniper) Fenner were married nearly 73 years.

Born in Bangor, he was the son of the late Earl G. and Edith (Williams) Fenner.

Retired from truck driving and previously the owner of the Breinigsville Hotel from 1971-81, he earlier farmed from 1946-59.

During his retirement years, he vacationed with family, built homes, refurbished tractors and attended tractors pulls.

He was a member of the Plow Boys and enjoyed hunting with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Ronald of Breinigsville, Robert and his wife, Sherrie, of New Tripoli; daughters Linda Fetter and her husband, Richard, of Tavares, Fla., Sherry Meck of Emmaus; sisters Joyce Comunale of North Bangor, Diane Hahn of Bangor, Alice Serfass and her husband, Bob, of Wind Gap; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by a brother Granville.

His celebration of life service will be 1-5 p.m. June 17 at their home.

His family requests friends and family do something special with a loved one in his memory.
