Mary E. Houlik, 91, of Allentown, died peacefully on May 11, 2018.

She and her husband John E. Houlik were married 56 years at the time of his death in 2008.

Born in Hackensack, N.J., she was the dietary purchasing manager at the former Bergen Pines County Hospital until retiring.

Her survivors include sons John E. and wife, Kathleen Houlik, of Allentown, James M. and wife, Jean (Yingling) Houlik of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren Elisabeth Fretz and her husband, Ramsay, and Chaz Houlik; step-grandchildren Tara Percinsky and her daughter, Vaeda, Katelyn Massie and husband, Justin, and their son Bowen; sisters Helen Gaggero of Bogota, N.J., Virginia Haag of Middleville, N.Y., and Joan Roberts of Ridgefield Park, N.J.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Zachary J. Houlik, on May 4, and her brother Frederick.

Services and interment will be private.
