Denise Alden Hendricks, 63, died May 20, 2018, in her Kempton home in the presence of her loving family.

She and her husband Steven D. Hendricks celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in June 2017.

Born in Abington, she was a a daughter of Gloria (Hubscher) Alden and the late Karl R. Alden II.

She was a member of Kempton New Church, Kempton, and the Semper Fi Families Organization of Eastern Pennsylvania.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter Kyra Hendricks of Kempton; brothers Justin D. (Anndwyn) Hendricks of Kempton, Sean T. (MeKenna) Hendricks of Shanghai, China, Robin J. (Abigail) Hendricks of Macungie, and Mark W. Hendricks of Kempton; sister Emily A. (John) McGowan of Coopersburg; brother Karl R. Alden III of Stockertown; and grandchildren Damian, Hunter D., Savannah J. and Joshua B. Hendricks.

Her service will be 2:30 p.m. May 27 in the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, 900 Cathedral Road, Bryn Athyn, with special music at 2 p.m. and a reception following the service.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Kempton New Church Cemetery.
