Malcolm W. “Mick” Riffert, 80, of Macungie, died May 3, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Carol A. Riffert, who died March 1, 2017. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late George and Estelle (Albert) Riffert.

He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime.

He was self-employed, owning and operating for many years GOC Service and M.W. Riffert Paint Contractor. He most recently worked for Graham Security, Macungie, as a security officer.

He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Easton.

He is survived by daughters, Melinda J. (David L.) Guffy, Alison J. (Robert Geoffrey) Brunner, all of Allentown; siblings, Marjorie (Frank) Sickle, Thomas (Karen) Bonstein, all of Easton; grandchildren, Rachel and David Guffy, Quincy Brunner.

Arrangements were made by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown.
