The Allentown Music Club at their April meeting presented the winners of the Dr. Albert Hofammann Scholarship for Young Pianists and the annual String Award.
Alexander Guoyi Tang, a ninth grader at Parkland High School, won the Dr. Albert Hofammann Scholarship for Young Pianists.
He performed the first movement of Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 18 in D Major, and Fantaisie-Impromptu, Op 66 by Chopin.
Sung Min “Christina” Park, a senior at Parkland High School, won the String Award.
She performed the first movement of Violin Concerto No. 2 in D minor by Wieniawski.
