Miriam J. Koneski, 89, formerly of Emmaus, died April 30, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. She was the wife of George W. Koneski. Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Pearl (Lantz) Boyer.

She was a longtime parishioner and active volunteer, reader and cantor at the Church of St. Ann, Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband; sisters, Grace and Madeline; brother, Harold; daughters, Georgene and her husband Andrew Kocis, Regina and her husband Edward Beretsky, Christine and her husband Winston Erevelles; son, George W. Jr. and his wife, Arlene, Stephen and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Daniel, Alison, Shana, Jason, Robin, Tyler, Ryan, Jonathan, Eric, Tara, Karina, Kyle, David, Claire, Joseph and Michael; 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Edgar, Luther, Donald, Percival and Richard; sisters, Myrle and Ruth; daughter, Angela Toth and son-in-law, Albert Toth.
