Lorraine M. Krause, 85, of Slatington, died April 29, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Paul W. Krause were married 58 years last June 6.

Born Dec. 17, 1932, in Lowhill Township, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Mildred P. (Krause) Hausman.

She and her husband owned and operated Krause Farms, Washington Township, throughout their married life.

Before that, she was a secretary at AT&T, formerly Western Electric, Allentown, and also for the former Trojan Powder Co., South Whitehall Township.

She was a member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, and Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter 235, formerly Slatington Chapter 458.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Diane S. and her husband, Gregory Furchner, Debra A. and her husband, Douglas Hunsicker, Jr., all of Slatington; son-in-law M. Kenneth Bricker of Waynesboro; sister Ruth K., wife of John Depper, of Alma Ariz.; brothers Carl A. and his wife, Ruth, of Walnutport, Richard H. and his wife, the Rev. Cheryl Meinschein of Orefield; grandchildren Jon, Chad, Tyler and Zachary Bricker; Ashley Bartholomew; Sara, Emily and Jackson Hunsicker; great-grandchildren Owen and Arden Bricker; and four nephews.

She was predeceased by daughter, Carol L. Bricker, who died in 2010.
