Lila May Lichtenwalner, 94, of Wescosville, died April 22, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of Hope “Ted” Lichtenwalner. They would have been married 65 years on April 25. Born in Stoney Run, she was the daughter of the late George and Barbara (Kunkle) Follweiller.

She was owner and operator of Lila’s Beauty Salon for 42 years, retiring in 1986.

She was a wonderful housekeeper, baker and cook and was famous for her cornflakes and butterscotch treats.

She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, playing cards, dancing, going to the beach, fishing, clamming and crabbing.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Barbarann and companion, Dennis Hill; brother Warren and his wife Alice; nieces and nephews; faithful Westie, Clyde.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
