Georgia M. Pulizzano, 76, of Emmaus, died April 29, 2018, in her home. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Vitor and Rose (Marina) Pulizzano.
She was not the kind of person to stay home and bake cookies, although she did like to cook and bake. Instead, she enjoyed world traveling, scuba diving and sailing her own boat! She even took flight lessons. She was the family nuclear weapon. If ever you needed a bridge blown up behind you, a driver for your getaway car, a method to track a cheating spouse, or even heist a piano, she was the first to lead the charge.
She was a relentless and dependable advocate if you needed one. Hardworking throughout her life, she retired at 72 as a legal secretary at Traud Law Offices. For most of her life, she worked as an insurance agent for Prudential Life Insurance Company and Allstate Insurance Company.
She is survived by daughters, Valerie and her husband Preston Boyer and Natalie and her husband Gregory Paul; son, Joseph D. Collura and his wife Jani; sisters, Elizabeth Russomano, Kathleen Bercaw, Elaine Patti; brother, Victor; granddaughter, Stacey Renee Henning; great-granddaughter, Scarlet Rose Henning; many nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made in her memory to Animals in Distress, 5075 Limeport Pike, P.O. Box 609, Coopersburg, Pa. 18036.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
