George M. Cosmos Jr., 82, of Emmaus, died May 6, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Eleanore A. (Ondush) Cosmos. They were married for 60 years on May 3. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George and Celia (Prete) Cosmos.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus and was a graduate of William Allen High School.

He was employed by A&P/Superfresh Markets for 45 years, retiring in 1997.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Michael and his wife Nancy, of Malvern and Timothy and his wife Cheryl, of Macungie; daughter, Lisa and her husband William O’Brien, of Gambrills, Md.; brother, Donald, of Wescosville; sister, Rosemarie and her husband Robert Murray, of Ridley Park; grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Jennifer and Allison; great-grandchildren, Christian and Vera. He was predeceased by siblings, John and Eugenia.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. May 12 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus, 18049. A visitation will be held 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
