A Danielsville man died May 7 in an early-morning accident in Allen Township.

According to state police, Terry E. Landis, 62, was traveling northbound on Kreidersville Road approximately 2:30 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, while negotiating a left-hand turn. As he crossed the double-yellow line into the southbound lane, police said, the car began to spin, eventually hitting an embankment.

Police said the impact caused the vehicle to go airborne and roll. It struck the roof of a garage in the 2800 block of Kreidersville Road and a parked vehicle before coming to a stop on the ground.

At some point during the crash, according to the report, Landis was ejected through the vehicle’s sunroof.
