Northampton library: Public library to hold life-size game day for teens May 12

The library will hold a life-size games program for teens 1 p.m. May 12.

Come out and play Hungry, Hungry Hippos, Clue and Pacman. Games are larger than life and a ton of fun.

The next block parties are 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 17.

Play and build with the library’s block collection. Have fun while strengthening vocabulary and learning problem solving, reading readiness and social skills.

The program is recommended for ages 2 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is not required.

Join the recipe swap group, where we make, share and sample recipes from the library’s cookbook collection.

The information program for this session is 6 p.m. May 22.

Native Plants in the Home Garden program will be 6:30 p.m. May 23.

Join Kate Brandes, from Lehigh Gap Nature Center, as she discusses designing easy, beautiful home gardens that support your local ecology.

Family fun day starts 9 a.m. June 2. This is the first day to sign up for summer programs for all ages.

Join us as we kick off summer learning programs with sand art, face painting and more.
