Mary M. Ringer, 90, of Whitehall, died April 28, 2018, in Lehigh Commons, Lower Macungie Township.

She and her husband Alton H.S. Ringer were married 53 years last Aug. 8.

Born June 23, 1927, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Grover P. and Cajus V. (Eisenhard) Marcks.

She was an assembler at the former Western Electric, Allentown, for 15 years before retiring in 1964.

Since her marriage, she co-owned and assisted her husband in the operation of their family farm in Whitehall for 38 years.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, Whitehall.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Peter A. and his wife, Brenda, of North Whitehall Township; grandchildren Matthew, Stephanie and Jacob.

She was predeceased by siblings Gerald, James, Richard, Harold, Robert, Ruth, Sarah, Dorothy and Eva Marcks, and Althea Kleckner.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. May 3 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Virginia G. Schlegel officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at St John’s Union Cemetery, Mickleys, Whitehall.
