Karen G. Danner, 66 of Allentown, died April 27, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born Jan. 28, 1952, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Granville George and the late Loretta (Steigerwalt) George.

She and her husband Robert Danner II celebrated 45 years of marriage in January.

A 1969 graduate of Dieruff High School, she was a bus driver for Parkland School District for 26 years before retiring in February 2017.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Eric S. Danner and wife, Dianne, of Walnutport; daughters Lori A., wife of Timothy Bell, of Saylorsburg, and Beth N., wife of Lt. Col. Milton Kinslow of Munster, Germany; brother Gary George and wife, Shirley, of Allentown; and six grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter.

The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. followed by an 8:30 p.m. funeral service on May 3 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
