The Emmaus track and field teams are more than halfway through the season.

The Hornet girls team remains undefeated at 8-0, while the boys team is 7-1 heading into this week.

Emmaus had several first-place finishers in a recent meet at Pocono Mountain West that also included Liberty and Pleasant Valley.

The Hornets’ Abby Dalton (1600), Amanda Lavana (3200), Laurel Widdoss (triple jump) and Kaitlin Renschen (discus) all won individual events in the girls meet, while the girls relay teams won the 4x400 and 4x800.

In the boys meet, Madison Boys (400) and Jacob Brown (800) won individual events, while the boys 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams were also victorious.
