Paul Thomas Holler Jr. 57, of Salisbury Township, died April 16, 2018, in his home comforted by his wife, family and friends. His battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS was swifter than most. He was the husband of Nancy (Trexler) Holler. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Paul T. Holler Sr. and Bobbie (Roesch) Holler.

He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1978, Drexel University in 1983 and Lehigh University with a MSEE degree in 1993 and a MBA in 1998.

In 1983, he began working at Western Electric and recently retired from that company, now known as Broadcom.

He enjoyed traveling with his family. They explored national parks through hiking, biking and camping; Acadia was one of his favorites. Other popular destinations were Disney World or traveling to see his children sing on church or university choir tours.

He was involved in the work of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. He served as an Elder on the Session, a Sunday school teacher, a confirmation sponsor and served community breakfast at St. Paul’s Church, Allentown. He traveled to disaster-affected areas on mission trips with Helping Hands of the Lehigh Presbytery.

He is survived by his wife; children, Alyssa and her husband Joshua Hilbert, Billy, fiance of Katie Murphy, Robby and Sarah, fiancee of Ben Lewis; grandchildren, Kendra and Piper Hilbert; parents; siblings Robin and her husband Hersh Ruhmel, Louis, and Connie and her husband Lester Thomas; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and many close friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, 1 to 3 p.m. June 2.
