Margaret E. Bersch, 83, of Macungie, died April 20, 2018, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of Frederick Bersch. They were married for 63 years last July. She was a homemaker. Born in East Orange, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Philip and Clara (Commodore) Lynn.

She was a 1953 graduate of Bethlehem High School.

She was a very good cook and baker and enjoyed horse racing at Penn National and Asbury Park, N.J.

She is survived by her husband; son, Charles A., of Nazareth; daughters, Suzie and her husband Albert Herster, of Macungie and Lisa, of Macungie; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Lynn.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. April 25 at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. A calling hour will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. April 25 in the funeral home.
