Althea C. Urffer, 91, of Emmaus, died April 14, 2018, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late William A. Urffer. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elma (Buchecker) Snyder.
She worked as a cook for the Southern Lehigh School District, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of Chestnut Hill U.C.C. and the Macungie Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, David and his wife Elaine, of Emmaus; daughters, Kathleen and her husband Edward Brosky, of Allentown and Sallie, of Whitehall; sister, Mary Shellhammer, of Macungie; grandson, Jon; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Miller and a grandson, Jason.
