Ericka H. Smith, 52, of Breinigsville, died April 11, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband John A. Smith Sr. were married 27 years this month.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Melroy Sr. and Wilhelmena (Graham) Houser.

She worked in human resources for Merck and Co., based in Kenilworth, N.J., for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Jr. and daughter Daphne Drayton, both of Breinigsville; brothers Melroy Houser Jr. of California, Gary and Michael Houser, both of South Carolina; sisters Rhonda Frison of New Jersey, and Keisha Houser of South Carolina; brother-in-law Gerrod Louis Smith of New Jersey; nieces and nephews.

Her services are private.
