George R. Fenstermacher, 88, of Macungie, died April 9, 2018, in Bosie, Idaho. He was the husband of the late Esther P. Fenstermacher. He was a son of the late George and Nettie (Mitman) Fenstermacher.
He was a mechanic at Modern Transfer and Kline’s Foundry.
He was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli.
He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by sons, Gary L. and his wife, Kayla; Marc L. and his wife, Caron; Dean J.; daughter, Crystal A. and her husband Joseph Roper; stepsons, John Geist and his wife, Bonita; Barry Geist; stepdaughter, Donna Daniel; sisters, Irene and her husband Carl Dotterer; May Stocker; Elaine Bogert; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Glenn Fenstermacher and Gilbert Haas; sisters, Elinor Rodenbach, Marguerite Dotterer, Alberta Haas; and his companion Barbara Marks.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10, at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin 9:30 a.m.
