Neil B. Lagler, 79, of Macungie, died peacefully April 7, 2018.
He and his wife Pauline L. (Gardner) Lagler would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in October.
Born in Zionsville, he was the son of the late Lewis and Vera (Gerhart) Lagler.
He earned an Associate Degree from Penn State University and was a former member of Salem United Methodist Church.
A sheet metal worker for nearly 45 years with Local 19, he served as shop foreman at H.T. Lyons for 14 years.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast who had the opportunity, during his life, to ride through all 48 continental states and was a member of the Holiday Ramblers Club.
He enjoyed spending time in the garden, camping and being surrounded by his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Debora Reitenauer and her husband, Jerry, and Bambi Reichard and her husband, John; son, Timothy and his wife, Angela; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister Lucille Ackerman; and brothers Kenneth and Clark.
His services will be 10:30 a.m. April 12 in Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home
Interment in Evangelical Upper Milford Cemetery, Powder Valley.
