John H. Klotz, 79, of Coplay, died April 5, 2018, in his home.

He was the husband of Shirley A. (Carl) Klotz.

Born March 15, 1939, in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Mark J. and Hazel W. (Heisler) Klotz.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during a peacetime era.

A truck mechanic for 15 years at Essroc Inc., Nazareth, he retired in 2006. Before that, he worked for the former L.B. Smith Equipment Inc., Allentown, for 12 years.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
