Velma G. Geiger, 90, of Fogelsville, died March 31, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She celebrated Resurrection Sunday with the risen Savior, whom she served and loved.
She was the widow of Elmer C. Geiger.
Born in Plainfield Township, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Ida (Fehr) Shook.
She was a piano teacher in the Lehigh Valley for 68 years.
A member of Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown, she was a Sunday School teacher, Junior Choir director, president of the Missionary Society, lay delegate at the former Grace E.C. Church, and a neighborhood Bible Club teacher for many years at her home.
Her survivors include sons Lyle and wife, Margaret, of Macungie, Kurt and wife, Michele, of Danielsville, and Chris and wife, Fiona, with whom she resided; daughter Donna Lee, wife of James Gockley, of Emmaus; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. April 5 at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Robert Daneker Jr. officiating. Visitation noon to 1 p.m. Interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
